NDI is a Language School in Kongsberg that was established in 2012. NDI offers courses and training in multiple Languages for children, youths, adults, seniors and businesses.
The NDI is officially approved as a private provider of education in Norwegian, and social studies for foreigners seeking a permanent residence permit in Norway (approved by VOX in February 2014).
Anyone who wants a permanent residence permit in Norway must complete 600 hours of training. 550 hours of Norwegian and 50 hours of social studies. It is an introduction to the Norwegian society's laws and regulations.
NDI offers Social studies in the participant’s own language. The languages offered are English, Kurdish, Spanish, Arabic, French, Tigrinya, Portuguese, Somali and Turkish.
NDI offers customized courses for Kongsberg industry and other international organizations.
NDI would like to provide the Norwegian class’s course and the social studies to employees with an immigrant background in Kongsberg industry and other international organizations. The staff / organizations can make requests for courses. NDI would like to be a flexible partner that facilitates courses in the most appropriate manner for the individual workers and businesses.
Norwegian language and social studies can be given to: Students, au pairs and other temporary residents, Nordic citizens and persons with residence for EFTA / EEA regulations.
In addition, NDI offers language courses for adults / businesses including Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Turkish, Portuguese, English and French.
All courses are held at Bekkedokk 3, 3611 KONGSBERG.
Our courses for Norwegian classes A1-A2 have duration of seven weeks, two evenings a week, from 5.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. The price for a 7-week course is NOK 3.700 (42 hours).
Our courses for Social studies classes in English have duration of seven weeks, two evenings a week, from 5.30 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. The price for a 7-week course is NOK 4.500 (50 hours),
